Hume Regional Integrated Cancer Service (HRICS) welcomes you to join us for our upcoming 2024-25 Annual Forum.

This year’s theme “Supporting Value Based Health Care – Improving Cancer Services”

We welcome key note speaker Liz Hay to present on “Delivering impact within resource restrictions – an evidenced approach”

Liz Hay is the Director, Economics and Evaluation Unit at the NSW Ministry of Health. Prior to that Liz was the Manager of Health Economics and Evaluation at the NSW Health Agency for Clinical Innovation. With nearly 30 years’ experience in health, Liz has expertise in economics, evaluation of patient and staff experience, measurement health policy and reform, and value based health care.

Further presentations will include:

  • National Lung Cancer Screening Program – the rural and regional perspective – Associate Professor Craig Underhill
  • HRICS Service Improvement Grants Program and Panel discussion with Clinicians across our region sharing their experiences of collaboration and partnerships
  • A practical and interactive workshop led by Liz Hay, ‘Value based health care in action – Practical application for evaluation, clinician and patient experience’
