LMICS Grant Funding Program 2021–22

During the 2021–22 financial year, LMICS provided $200,000 of grant funding to 6 organisations providing specialist and generalist cancer services across the Loddon Mallee region. Each project delivered a project report, identifying outputs and outcomes.

LMICS awarded a small grant to Swan Hill District Health (SHDH) to strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cancer care through implementation of the OCP.

Sunraysia Community Health Service implementation of the OCP for Aboriginal people with cancer

Partnering with the local Aboriginal community and services including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), the SCHS Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officer, and mainstream health services to implement the Optimal Care Pathway (OCP) for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with cancer.
